 Cicely’s dedication to Katy ISD is personal. Her children are graduates of the district and were successful collegiate scholar-athletes thanks to the support of a team of Katy ISD professionals (teachers, paras, coaches, and counselors).

 Cicely is an alumna of Colby College and the University of Texas at El Paso, a member of the 2024 Pahara Fellowship cohort, and a member of Leadership Katy ISD (Class of 2026). She actively serves the community as a Katy KEYS Mentor and a Campus Advisory Team member 

Cicely will bring a rare and powerful perspective to the Katy ISD Board of Trustees, with over 25 years of experience spanning the for-profit and non-profit education sectors. Her "educator’s heart" was formed in the classroom as a Teach For America 1994 corps member and later in her family-owned preschools.

Today, she is a highly strategic education administrator and organizational linchpin. Having served as Chief of Staff at KIPP Texas Public Schools and currently as  Chief of Staff at Acelero, Inc., Cicely serves as a strategic thought partner to executive leaders. Her expertise lies in executing complex, cross-functional priorities and driving large-scale change, ensuring organizational effectiveness through rigorous strategic planning and board governance.
